Flownetix announces new remote valve product

Flownetix is pleased to announce the launch of the 300valve, an intelligent remotely controlled, low power valve for use in remote disconnection systems and pre-payment solutions.

Developed at the request of a number of utilities around the world and when combined with the Flownetix 300series range of Ultrasonic Consumer Water Meters, the valve can be used for pre-payment shut off, payment default shutoff, disconnection of vacant premises or leakage detection disconnection.

The 300valve requires no external power as it utilises an internal battery with a 10 year life for tamper protection support. The valve is compatible with the Flownetix 300pad for opening/closing or, using the inbuilt Flownetix data bus, remote control and status monitoring by AMR systems.
